Stuart Hall Vs Paul Butler – Preview, prediction and betting recommendation

Stuart Hall Vs Paul Butler

Preview, prediction and betting recommendation

Stuart Hall defends his IBF bantamweight title against highly touted prospect Paul Butler, Hall won the title in an unlikely turn of events last year when Jamie Mcdonnell was stripped of the belt and Hall was installed to fight Vusi Malinga.

Hall had to go through the trenches but came out a worthy winner against Malinga and earned the belt in a tough fight.

Butler has barely put a foot wrong in his career so far, he looks like he oozes class, crisp combinations, movement and a very good jab, from a technical point Butler looks like he has some very handy tools, but in my opinion he is still green and this is a risk moving him up a weight and into a world title fight so early.

But I do see why the Butler camp have taken this fight, they have a very good fighter on there hands and see a beatable belt holder, a win would propel Butlers career at just 25.

But i have seen risks like these backfire many times in the ring and I while I rate Butler we haven’t really seen what he is made of yet, his toughness, his resilience, his heart when his back is against the wall, and Stuart Hall while an unlikely world champion is nobody’s mug.

If you want to see what Stuart Hall is made of when the tough gets going, go and watch a replay of his fight against Vusi Malinga.

Butler technically is the better fighter here I make no argument about that, But Hall is strong offensively and with Butler moving up a weight, if Butler cant keep him modest he may find himself under a lot of pressure from Hall.

I think Butler may come through this with a close decision win but I think this is huge risk he is taking that could all go wrong and I think Stuart Hall is worth a small play at 5/2 to retain his title this weekend.

Either way I think this could turn out to be a cracking fight.
