Luke Campbell Vs Tommy Coyle – Preview and Prediction

Luke Campbell and Tommy Coyle go head to head in their home city of Hull in rumble on the humber. The two former amateur gym mates and sparring partners will battle it out at Hull’s Craven Park football stadium.

Luke Campbell goes into the bout as a significant favourite, the Olympic gold medallist and stand-out amateur is clearly the more skilled boxer and bigger man this weekend, on paper this really should be a formality.

Tommy Coyle has shown tremendous heart and determination at times in fights, but he has also shown himself to be vulnerable defensively, and has chin is certainly not made of granite. What Coyle does have however is a dig that can change a fight and he will need to land something early on in this one.

I don’t want to completely write of Tommy Coyle but for me this fight is Luke Campbell’s to lose and Coyle is really reliant on his opponent making mistakes for him to be victorious this weekend.

The bookies agree with that, Coyle is a big 8/1 underdog in this fight, a punchers chance is all many are giving him in this fight, including me.

Expect a dominant performance from Luke Campbell this weekend, he should be able to dismantle the game Coyle by the mid to late rounds, if not earlier.

Campbell is just 1/2 on to force the stoppage, I will be playing the under rounds market in an attempt to try and squeeze some more value in a stingy market.
