John Molina vs Dannie Williams – 11th January – (3am UK Time)

Location – Indian School, Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA

Both of these fighters pack huge power, some may remember seeing Molina get stopped inside a round against Antonio DeMarco back in September of last year, it was possibly a slightly premature stoppage but Molina didnt really help the referee out at all and managed to get himself in a right mess, but wasnt badly hurt.

There is a common opponent between the two in Hank Lundy, Molina stopped Lundy in the 11th, Whilst Williams despite knocking Lundy down in the 1st managed to do practically nothing for the rest of the fight and lost a wide UD.

The way i see this is Williams despite having never been stopped or even hitting the canvass in a 24 fight career, he hasnt quite faced someone of Molinas overawing demeanor and it will be interesting to see how he reacts.

However Molina always needs time to warm into a fight and he is probably at his most vunerable early as showed by De Marco, But Williams sluggish movement makes him vulnerable throughout also and i think we may very well see a stoppage.

I fancy Molina to inflict Williams first stoppage defeat in this bout i think once he gets warmed into the fight he will begin to exploit Dannies movement, come into Dannies ascendency and land big shots and Dannie wont get any let up once Molina gits the grit.

Molina is 6/4 to get the KO/TKO i think thats a generous price and has a decent chance of happening.

ATR’s Bet – £60 on Molina to win by KO/TKO 6/4 Paddypower
