David Haye Vs Arnold Gjergjaj – Preview and Prediction

David Haye continues his journey in re-establishing himself in the heavyweight division as he takes on his second opponent of 2016 after a three and a half year absence from the sport.

Previous to his first round knockout of Mark De Mori in January the last time Haye entered a ring was in July of 2012 when he stopped Dereck Chisora in five rounds.

His opponent Arnold Gjergjaj is unbeaten with a 29-0-0 record however do not be fooled by that, this will be only the second time Gjergjaj has ventured outside of Switzerland and his best win is a competitive points win against Denis Bakhtov, a guy Anthony Joshua destroyed in 2 rounds. Gjergjaj was also on the canvass once in that fight.

In other words and getting straight to the point this is a mismatch and David Haye should and will have no problems in dispatching Arnold Gjergjaj inside the distance this weekend, likely very early on in the fight.

The bout will again feature on channel Dave ‘The home of witty comedy banter’ which might be fitting given Shannon Briggs will be making a guest appearance on the undercard and will likely be his usual eventful self as he looks to seal a fight with Haye.

If you are looking to bet this fight I would say Haye rounds 1-2 at evens down at Ladbrokes is probably your best bet or under 3.5 rounds at 4/7 at Bet365. I am not recommending a full play on this one as we already have this fight featuring as Bet #9 of our £20-£1000 betting challenge in our premium group.
