Bryant Jennings Vs Artur Szpilka – Fight preview and betting recommendation

Bryant Jennings Vs Artur Szpilka

25th January 2014

Madison Square Garden Theater, New York, New York, USA

Two unbeaten Heavyweights clash this weekend, and this will be somewhat a pivotal fight for both fighters – a win takes them the next step. Szpilka most will remember from his fights with Mike Mollo – Szpilka showed vulnerability and resilience at the same time in both of the two fights he had with Mollo, Szpilka was down 3 times across those two fights and my feeling is if a faded Mike Mollo of this world can find Szpilka, Bryant Jennings will.

Szpilka fighting from a southpaw stance likes to keep a fight at range, landing shots and moving on the outside, the range of opposition he has faced to date has allowed him to dictate the pace and range of a fight, however with Jennings he is facing a different class of fighter, he no longer has that luxury and needs new tricks.

Jennings is not the biggest punching heavyweight out there but with a lot of good attributes, a good defence, a ring intelligence, speed and excellent combination punching we may see Jennings making some moves in the heavyweight division post Klitschko era.

Jennings is 1/2 to win the fight whilst you can get Szpilka at 2/1, however when you look in the method market you can get Jennings at 3/1 to find a stoppage, baring in mind its a 10 rounder i still like that price and i give Jennings a good chance at stopping Artur Szpilka.

ATR’s Bet – £10 on Jennings by KO/TKO 3/1 Boylesports
