Brian Rose Vs Carson Jones – Preview and Prediction

Brian Rose seeks redemption as he takes on Carson Jones for the second time following his 1st round stoppage loss back in February this year. Rose was rocked badly by Jones in the 1st round and referee Ian John Lewis stopped the bout, Rose argued prematurely, it’s debatable but he was unquestionably badly hurt.

Rose gets to put all wrongs right this weekend as he takes on Jones on the undercard of Luke Campbell Vs Tommy Coyle, Rumble on the Humber.

Brian Rose is a tidy technical boxer who has achieved domestically obtaining a lonsdale bout outright but has fallen short of world level and was convincingly beaten by Demetrius Andrade by 6th round stoppage, in an attempt at the WBO world super welterweight title.

Carson Jones is a relentless pressure fighter with power, he gave Kell Brook fits in their first contest and he is probably underrated, if Jones is in a good place he is a problem.

I backed Jones at 4/1 last time out and collected, this time round I see no reason why to change that pick with the exception of the fact you will only get 15/8 on Jones in the market now.

That price is still good with me, Rose lacks the kind of power to keep a fighter like Jones honest and while the fight will most definitely last longer this time round I still expect Jones to catch Rose at some point and he will pile the pressure on to force another stoppage win.

I am still backing Jones by any method at 7/4 at bet365 as in the event of a draw the bet will be void and a refund issued.

BETTING TIP: £40 on Carson Jones any method 7/4 Bet365
