Adrien Broner Vs John Molina Jr – Preview and Prediction

Adrien Broner Vs John Molina Jr

Preview and Prediction

Adrien Broner was being dubbed as the next Floyd Mayweather and a future pound for pound superstar, however a quick move up the weights and a humbling at the hands of Marcos Maidana distinguished those thoughts, for now anyway.

However at 25 years old no one can question Broner has already achieved a lot, a 3 weight world champion and when he is at his best a super talent, he has an opponent in front of him this weekend with a style that he could look very good against.

Outside of the ring question marks have been raised regarding Broner’s lifestyle, he has looked vastly out of shape between fights, appears to spend a lot of his time with a unscrupulous crowd in clubs amongst other antics, is Broner as focused as he needs to be if he is to fulfil his potential, or are we looking at a crash and burn career?

Technically Broner is a talent, but he is hittable and his low output at times in fights cost him, but when he lets them hands go he really can put on a show, if he turns up this weekend then it will be a tough night for John Molina.

While Molina isn’t the most technically gifted fighter, he can box some but is more of a come forward fighter with a big heart and heavy hands, he gave Lucas Matthysse major problems in this last outing and in defeat his stock rose.

If Molina can take advantage of Broners quiet moments in the fight, bring heat and take him into the trenches, he can win this fight, but he will probably need to land something very big.

Molina isn’t a novice at overcoming adversity in the ring he was losing badly against Hank Lundy and Mickey Bey but turned those fights around with one punch, do not write this man off, he has a huge heart and deserves warrior status. If Broner is over looking Molina in anyway he may be humbled yet again.

Stylistically this is Broner’s fight, he has a man tailor made for his style in my opinion but nothing has been clear cut for Broner since he moved up in weight, and one of the problems for the problem is that Broner does not seem to carry his power to welterweight.

I think he will make another tough fight out of Molina also this weekend, he may have to overcome some adversity but I expect him to come through with a unanimous decision victory.

Paddy Power have Broner to be knocked down at 4/1, I say that is well worth a bet, Molinas pressure and heavy hitters could provide some hairy moments for the problem this weekend.
